National Parks: Mt. Rainier

Located approximately 85 southeast of Seattle, Washington is Mt. Rainier National Park.  The mountain’s peak has become an icon of the State of Washington.

We entered the park en route from Portland, Oregon.  From Portland, we drove 70 miles northeast to Mt. St. Helens.  From there, we drove another 145 miles north to Mt. Rainier.
