The Trulli of Alberobello
One of the towns on my itinerary of my $1228 trip to Italy was Alberobello. The town of Alberobello was put on the map because of its trulli. Trulli are the white-washed houses with conical roofs that populate the area. Alberobello is located five hours southeast of Rome between Bari and Brindisi. There isn’t much to do it the town but stroll, look in the many gift shops and eat. We enjoyed a nice lunch of lasagne and local wine which made the visit complete.
