National Parks: Mesa Verde

Located in the Southwest region of the state of Colorado, is Mesa Verde National Park.  This park protects ancient Pueblo cliff dwellings and structures that date back to the 12th century.  In addition, Mesa Verde is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
