If You’re Planning a Visit to Kilmainham Gaol…

We have been to Dublin on three prior trips each time hoping to see Kilmainham Gaol.  Every time we arrived disappointed since the tickets were always sold out.  Since we are planning a return trip in April, we were determined not to miss it this time.  I learned that tickets go on sale 90 days in advance.  I set a reminder on my phone and today was the 90 day mark.  We immediately went to the site and nearly all the tickets for that date were already sold out.  We were lucky though and procured enough tickets for our party for a 3:45 tour. If you’re planning to go, waste no time in booking your tickets for this attraction.  I hope our jet lag doesn’t get in the way of enjoying the site since we arrive just five hours before the tour.  Fingers crossed our flight isn’t delayed.  Stayed tuned.
