My Four Favorite Travel Apps

1. Flight Tracker

Alerts of delays before airlines announce it. Shows the arrival and departure terminals.

One of the best features is the “aircraft’s previous flight.” When my flight is delayed, I can see when my plane took off and it’s arrival time. Very helpful in planning my time.

2. Google Maps

Download the offline version of the maps you will need while you have wifi.

3. Google translate

Just type what you want to say and hit the microphone. It will speak for you.

This app was invaluable for me in Russia.

Download the language you want, and your phone camera can translate text. So good for using on menus.

 

 

4. Globe Convert

I use it for currency all the time to know what things cost me in US dollars.

 

Being that I’m American, I also use it for converting Celsius to Fahrenheit and sometimes for distances.
