Hong Kong–the Trip That Started it All

I’m starting to create photo galleries of some of my past trips.  In 1993, I went to Hong Kong.  That was pretty much the trip that started it all and my wanderlust was born.

It is amazing how the quality of photography has evolved since the dawn of digital photography.  The quality of these photos was edited with modern software, but they still aren’t near the quality of today’s pictures.

The Hong Kong harbor next two photos-

This is the entrance to Kim Tin walled village.  The walled villages are still popular with tourists today.

Views from Victoria Peak.  Reach the peak via the tram.

A lot of people live on boats-

The “world’s largest floating restaurant”–

The next six images are of a fishing village on stilts named Tai O.  Tai O is on Lantau Island.
