Free Beer

As we say on our slug line, we’re professionals. That means we have professional careers in which we’ve paid our dues working long hours and are often looked upon to clean up others’ messes, regardless of what they are. We don’t while away our time easily, unless there’s a beer involved. And we’re always looking to save a buck; or possibly make one.

We had a layover in Ft. Lauderdale. Yay, Spirit! We walked out of the terminal looking for something to do and noticed these carts, sitting together. Now, being the couple who will spend a week with Just A Carry On, we don’t have much experience with these carts. However, somewhere among our travels we’ve become aware that using these cost money and there is a reward for returning them, kind of like the $0.10 bottle return in Michigan.

That little line of four carts represents a whole DOLLAR!! All you have to do is push them into the return.  IMG_1746

We spent about twenty minutes gathering them up and claiming our rewards!IMG_1747

It’s funny how many people thought we worked for the airport, but who cares? Time for a free beer!IMG_1745
