The Rock Restaurant in Zanzibar

Although kind of a tourist trap, a must do experience in Zanzibar (part of Tanzania) is The Rock Restaurant.  They take reservations online and I highly recommend having one.  Additionally, they offer bus transport from Stone Town, but I had booked a driver for the day to explore the beaches of Zanzibar so my driver took us there.

We arrived at low tide and just walked on over.

The food is kind of pricey and not remarkable, but we did enjoy the experience.

When we finally departed, the tide was high so we returned to shore in a small boat.

To sum, it is one of the more unique experiences one can have in Africa.
