Yamil Lu’um Mayan Ruin
Located in the Hotel Zone of Cancun is the 13th Century temple of Yamil Lu’um. Â This was the perfect beach break I needed to get out and explore for about an hour or two.
The site is free. Â Just take the bus to kilometer 16 and enter the hotel that is across from the H&M store.
Go straight and follow the stairway that turns up around to the right. When you go to the pool area stay to the right you’ll eventually come to a path.  Take the path. At the end of it, the temple will appear before you. Just go to the left and follow the stairs upward.
