Atwater Brewery

One Saturday afternoon I was looking for someplace to have a bite to eat and I remembered a place my friend Andy recommended. It’s called Atwater Brewery on the corner of Guoin and Joseph Campau.

The restaurant is separated from the brewery by glass and offers a wide range of beers. I was intrigued by the barrels from Dickel whiskey distillery in Tennessee.

Dickel in Tennessee? Interesting.

I had the best brat I’ve ever eaten and washed it down with “the Stout That Peter Built”. I see why by friend spoke so highly of this place. I’m still thinking about that stout. They bottle and sell many of their beers in the Metro Detroit area but that stout isn’t on their menu.

Their sign is correct: BEER IS GOOD!
