Best Travel Flat Iron

Years ago my sister burned off her hair with a curling iron in Ireland.  Ever since then (1993), I shied away from packing heat appliances.  You see, just because you put an adapter on a device and it fits on the wall, doesn’t make it safe to use. The US electric grid is on a 110 AC, however, Europe and a lot of the world is on a 220 system. In order to prevent appliances from extreme overheating, it is imperative that the electric current be converted as well.

I finally found a flat iron that is perfect for travel.  It automatically converts a 220 current for use on a 110 device.

I bought it on Amazon for $16.97.

Below is a picture of it showing how it compares in size to a regular flat iron.

The width of the arms is compared below.

This nice, little flat iron even comes with its own thermal case and barely takes up any room in a suitcase.

Here’s the item description if you choose to buy one.

I’m so happy I found this.  I won’t leave home without it-no more bad hair days!
