Galapagos Islands Photos

A trip to the Galapagos (Ecuador)should be on everyone’s bucket list.  The best way to get to the islands is via air from Guayaquil.  Most flights arrive to the island of Baltra.  The $100 entrance fee is due upon arrival in cash (USD).  We stayed on the island of Baltra since that is where most of the hotels and restaurants are.  We booked a tour to the islands when we arrived in Baltra.  There are many tour companies who will be more than willing to book you on a tour.

We visited the nearby islands in a small boat.  The water was very rough and people got pretty sick.  My sister went a year ago and told me that she too experienced rough seas.  I strongly advise you to be sure to have something for seasickness.
